Honey Pig Korean BBQ and Tapioca Taiwanese Teahouse are featured in HOUSTON CHRONICLE’s recent article “17 Must Visit Restaurants for Asian Restaurant Month“.

Food editor Emma Balter highlighted 17 restaurants, one for each Asian cuisine.   For Korean, Honey Pig is recommended:

“Head to Houston’s Asiatown for a Korean barbecue experience with generous special combos and à la carte options like pork belly, kalbi, bulgogi and brisket.”

For Taiwanese, Tapioca House is recommended:

“Tapioca House offers a variety of boba drinks, Taiwan’s most famous food import. But the restaurant’s Taiwanese street snacks provide a broader taste of the country’s food, through rice dishes like crispy pork chop, black pepper chicken and braised pork belly, and other bites from crispy tofu to sesame balls.”

Emma also recommends many great restaurants including Phat Eatery for Malaysian cuisine, Kata Robata for Japanese cuisine, Himalaya for Indian cuisine. Finipinia Too for Filipino cuisine, Kin Dee for Thai cuisine, Xin Chao for Vietnamese, Blood Bros for barbacue, Hadramout for Yemeni.. and more.  Check out her full article here.

We encourage you to celebrate with us the diverse Asian heritage.  Let’s continue to explore and bond over great food!
